100% vs plastic coated

When doing card magic, do people often use 100% plastic cards? I thought the most common deck was riderback from Bicycle. But these are not 100% plastic. What pros and cons is there for this choice?

Kind regard,

100% plastic cards last a really long time, can be wiped off if they get dirty, don't get warped, etc.

However, if you do ever crimp one it won't ever come out. They are weird for certain sleights due to the different flexibility and texture, and I've never worked with a deck that fans or spreads well.

Yes.

Like Bicycle Standards, Bees, etc. Two layers of paper with glue between and a plastic-based finish.
