Will...a buddy of mine just did a suspended straight jacket escape about 6 months ago. He is in our club and a good friend of mine. Pm me with your questions and I'll get back to you. I'm going to see if I can find his performance online. He did it up really nice with a computerized voice count down...a tribute video to Houdini on a big screen behind him...and a few other cool ideas using snowboard boots mounted to a steel pipe to hang from a cable system in a theater.
Wayne Houchin started his career with a lot of escape work, his promo video has a suspended straight jacket escape in it still, maybe try and drop him an email.
Draven, sorry no serious escape work here. I'm sure that the rope escape I teach to Cub Scouts won't help you at all.

Get in touch with a mate of mine called Chris Cross. He does specialised escapes and the stunt you are planning. In fact I believe he is doing it this Friday in Cardiff I think.
