Archive Debate: What's Good, What's REALLY Good

Yesterday Lyle Borders mentioned that new Archive items would be released VERY soon, sure enough there are THREE new items.

If you have quite a bit of elite points I figured I would give my opinions on what you should buy (if you are saving points for archive, not discounts). HOWEVER feel free to put your own opinion in the comments below.

In order from least to greatest amount of points here it is:

Wristband (500 EP)
- Buy this if you really have no points, or if you want another wristband.
- Do not buy if you already have wristbands, start saving for bigger items.

Propaganda (3000 EP) Price increased to 4500 EP
- Buy this, its a fairly good deal.
- However save your points if you have enough for better items.
- Worth more than the discount equivalent.

White Monarchs (3500 EP)
- Buy this if you missed out or want more, but keep in mind these are version two.
- However, save your points for bigger items if you can get them.
- Worth more than the discount equivalent.

NEW Signed Remix Lecture Notes (5000 EP) SOLD OUT
- Buy this if you can, after all it is signed by Wayne Houchin!
- Unique and rare item.
- Worth more than the discount equivalent.

NEW Bicycle Titanium Blue/Red Uncut Sheet (5000 EP)
- Interesting item, however it is not of a major t11 line (i.e. Monarchs, Artisans, Medallions, Tycoons).
- Unreleased item, therefore exclusive (for now).
- Worth more than the discount equivalent.
- You decide, if this is your price range I suggest the Notes from above but this is cool too.

NEW Red Monarchs (5000 EP)
- Sold out (discontinued).
- One of t11's most iconic lines (my favorite).
- Worth less than discount equivalent (sells online for ~$20, coupon equivalent worth $25.00)

Brown Wynn (7500 EP)
- Rare, sold out since 2007.
- Will be one of the most valuable decks in your collection, should you choose to get them.
- Worth more than the discount equivalent.

NEW Players (7500 EP)
- Previously on the archive (for 1000-2000 points if I am correct).
- Marked deck.
- Worth less than discount equivalent (Sells online for ~$30, coupon equivalent worth $37.50).

Skype Session with t11 Team (7500 EP) [Pro/Con]
Pro: Meet the team seen on Expose, chat about whatever you want.
Con: High EP price, only lasts for one hour. Lowered to 30 minutes

Cardistry Training (7500 EP) Price increased to 8000 EP [Pro/Con]
Pro: Work with cardistry masters to improve your skills.
Con: High EP price, only lasts for one hour (not too much training can be done in one hour).

I formatted the Skype Session and Cardistry Training as Pro/Con as a price value cannot be determined, it is worth as much as you make of it.

Feel free to add your own opinions!

I went to Wayne's lecture in Myrtle Beach, SC with JB, and I must say if you are only interested in using your points towards magic and not a deck or Skype training/session, his signed Remix Lecture Notes are a MUST get. He performed a good bit of the effects in Remix at his lecture and they were absolutely fantastic. I definitely recommend getting Remix if you don't have it already. In terms of decks, my other personal favorite is the Propaganda, simply because it is one of my favorite theory11 decks. When I first heard about theory11 the Propaganda was one of the first custom decks I was truly interested in, and it brings me back to the old days.

I'd love those uncut sheets... also the Players, but maybe there are other options for those, only thing is how to accumulate enough Elite Points with the completion ending. I enjoy the playing cards, etc. very much, but even with daily practice don't wear out that many decks.

A little something new was JUST added (less than 2 minutes ago) that people have been asking for. There aren't a ton of them, so don't miss your chance if that is what you were waiting for!

Darn it! I don't have enough points!
Also I have updated the list to include it.
Also also, It says first edition Red Monarchs. Does this mean there is a second edition in the works?

This "First Edition" tag only means that it is the First Edition. The Red Monarchs were not specifically limited edition deck, so there is a significant chance that we will bring them back at some point. It is not an indication that a V2 is specifically in the works more than an idea we kick around sometimes. We would all love to see them back again someday in a V2 form, so when/if the time is right we will look into printing these again. In the meantime, our final small stash from our private reserves is available in The Archive.

There are loads of decks we would like to bring back at some point. There is a balance though. If we spent all of our time and energy reprinting old decks, there wouldn't be any new decks. We always focus on the new, and if we feel that there is enough demand to bring back an old deck we will. Guardians did this, Stingers came back in a second color, JAQKs have now come back in a total of 2 additional colors, and we just saw the second Rarebit deck. Heck, the Red Monarch was really the 4th Monarch deck (after the original, the White, and the Silver, not counting the pre-release version). The Monarchs are super popular, and so long as they stay that way there is a chance to see new colors or old colors being reprinted.

Just noticed that the Skype session with the creative team went from 1 hour to 30 minutes.

Why the big knockdown in time?

Seems like it should be like 5500 in points for 30 minutes.

But seeing how I'm still saving up for the Skype session, I'd like to know why it went to half an hour.

Archive items are always subject to change or expiration. If you want something, the only guaranteed way to get it is to get it right then and there! Especially keeping in mind that most items in The Archive are RARE and limited. With regard to the Skype session, this was updated to 30 minutes as our team is CRAZY busy working on a few secret somethings (and traveling internationally) at the present moment.

That's totally understandable getting an item right then and there. I missed the 250 point wristband by literally an hour. I get it.
But from what it sounds like, it's a 30 minute session for the time being and will change once things get less hectic. It'll take me about a year to get the session anyway. No rush.

Thank you for the official response on that!
