I have seen numerous threads that mention the Berglas Effect but have not found much information on it using the search function. Can anyone give insight on what the actual effect is and where it is available? Thanks

The Berglas Effect is another name for the A.C.A.A.N or Any Card at Any Number plot. David Berglas lent his name to it due to his continuous performances of the effect by having a spectator freely name a card and a number, and then having them deal down to said number to find the said card, all without the magician touching the deck.

An outline of the method appears in his book, The Mind and Magic of David Berglas, which is long out of print. It is important to note that he gives only the outline.

So as far as where you can learn it - you can't.

You can find many different versions of ACAAN with just a little research. If you want a method to the Berglas Effect as cleanly as the version performed by Berglas however, I'm afraid you're going to have to get a little creative yourself. Don't get caught up in the idea that one must either learn it from Berglas or make do.
