Hello Theory11 ,

This is my first review on T11 but... Here it GOES!.

I started of changing clothes and set sights to going to get Guardians. Well.. When I reached the shop, I was kinda shocked to see that they had kinda whole lot of decks placed on shelves.

However back to the point. I got my Guardians at a price of S$13, and I also bought Split spades |Normal ones| when I reached home, opened it, i was shocked to see that the card's simplicity could make a HUMAN's day.

It is just too hard to describe how it looks, I mean, take a look at the front. Says. BICYCLE, followed downwards a kinda freakishly nice picture then says a rider back after that, GUARDIANS. shocked to see that the fonts they use was.. some kinda movies that they show in cinemas saying " coming Summer" kinda fonts.

At the sides says , AIR CUSHION FINISH . MADE IN U.S.A well. Im describing the box now. Now, for the cards in side. NOT to mention, The backs of the boxes. Its.. MARVELLOUS! well again, opening the deck. Its almost like. You place a picture on a blank card and DONE! The picture cant be described.

Deck includes a theory11 card, 2 fine jokers. JACK QUEEN KINGS , are slightly grey on the crowns which really kills the effect drawn. Oh yes, it also includes a double backer. Check the double backer, it shud be darker than the normal ones. When you touch Guardians, you will feel a smooth kinda feeling in your hands.

Also. Deck has a fab finish. Shud you buy it, I definetly encourage.

United kingdom.

and not just the split spades, i mean SS (split spade) bee stock, Wynns, Shadowmasters, Bicycle masters edition, Propagandas, Smoke&mirror, Ghosts, Black Tiger, Vipers or Normal Tally-Ho's.

when i first bought my black tigers i thought they were the ****. then i bought ghosts. i thought THEY were the ****. i bought a bunch of other custom decks, then i landed onto split spades. they're good cards.

i just recently got Smoke and mirrors- and they're cool but i stand by split spade for personal preferences.

Umm... the Guardians have an Air-Cushion finish. That's the exact same finish as normal Bikes, if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, they have the same finish as bikes. However, if you realised after sometime bikes will turn a little rough and fans go wrong. I also wonder if Centurions work well. It just has a little design on the back and the rest is exactly guadians like. if im not wrong./

Centurions and Guardians are exactly the same, except for the design.

No disrespect intended, but if Guardians have the same finish as regular Bikes, how is it "fab"?

The finish may be the same, however the cards on printed on different stock. The combination of card stock and finish will determine how the deck handles.

Try some standard bikes, a deck of 1800s, and a deck of Guardians. You'll notice a big difference in all 3, yet they all have Air Cushion. Especially as you use them for a bit. In my experience, the 1800s are very springy, which is good, but they clump a LOT. Guardians are the smoothest of the 3.

On another note, I'm glad you (the poster of the threat) like this deck. This happens to be my favorite deck to use as well.

It also depends on how heavily the finish is applied. Normal finish - standard bikes. Heavier coated finish - Guardians. Weaker finish - 1800's.

This explains how cards can have different feels and have the same finish. So that combined with different stock can make a deck feel completely different.
