Box Steal Sources

I am exactly looking for a steal of one card from a closed card box.

I need some name of creator of this move or magician who use it.

Any help will be appreciated.

I don't own the effect but I think Clutch from Penguin Magic could give you what you're looking for.

Daniel Garcia has the move for you. His D.G. Box steal is published in MAGIC magazine in June of last year. You can also find it in his notes Limited. Found at the link below.

The concept used in Clutch is very old and is credited to Darwin Ortiz and Mark Wilson. I believe that steal is taught somewhere in Wilson's Complete Course, but I haven't the slightest idea where.

I really like the DG box steal and i use it all the time.. i would highly recomend it to you.. btw the clutch effect doesn't use the type of box steal you are looking for.. It only works with the whole deck inside the case...

I forget the name of the trick in Mark Wilson's book, but Clutch is definitely in there. It doesn't teach the exact control, but it teaches everything else, including the box steal. Just go to the card magic chapter of the book and you will find it there with little effort. And if you don't have the book, go to your local bookstore/library and pick it up there.
