But in reality i have nothing against the masked magician or the shows. I remember it on daytime tv when i was younger, because even back then before i was a magician, i had a keen interest in all things magic and every magician that appeared on tv, which isn't too often in Ireland. Anyways I watched it whenever it was on, to this day i cant remember what tricks he revealed on the shows. Point being, everyone i've ever spoken to about magic on tv remembers the tricks david blaine did on his show, vividly, not even magicians remember what the masked magician did.
Muhammad Ali, who has a keen interest in magic, once went on a Britsh chat show and performed the disappearing handkerchief. Then said it was against his religions beliefs to be deceptive, and he revealed his thumb tip and how it was done. Paul daniels was then asked to come on tv and talk about it. He did it perfectly, he said yes yes, what Ali did was buy a toy magic prop from somewhere and it's not how a real magician would perform it, Paul then performed the same trick WITH a thumbtip to prove his fake point, and he did.
