I bet Trump could. He can get almost anything to land on those tiny fingers.

In my show I talk about how all my magic is done with a combination of sleight of hand, misdirection, and luck. I demonstrate by throwing the ring into the air and caching it without looking at my hand.
And in my ring routine I say it's a magic ring, like from LOTR. And demonstrate how the ring wants to be worn. (like the scene in the prancing pony where the ring lands on Frodo's finger)
I've been working on 'Ring Throw' off and on for a couple months. Definitely tricky to do consistently. Alas, I haven't got the consistency part down yet
I see from your profile picture you wear glasses, I'd suggest trying without them. My glasses mess with my depth perception a little bit. Lighting is also a big factor, it's virtually impossible to do in fluorescent lighting.
Whenever I do it, I take a deep breath and imagine the ring landing on my finger.
Other than that, practice practice practice!
