Wow, I thought of the same thing when I was beginning with magic, it's a really simple effect to perform (or at least my version was...) and it looked exactly the same as yours. I may just start performing this again... One piece of advice though, try using the DMB Spread Control or a various move while doing the trick... *If this is revelation please edit mods!

I thought it was consistent. If it goes in one packet face down, it jumps to the other face down too. This is like a ground version of Portal. Smooth handling too.
