Hey guys, I've become interested in card cheating and I was wondering about the material that was out there... Is there like "a bible for card cheating", and where can I find it? :) I've seen that Richard Turner's "The cheat" has been reccomended (http://www.hanklee.org/xcart/product.php?productid=7606).
And hopefully, the product won't be insanely difficult. I can handle some practice, but it can't be impossible for everyone but expert card handlers... :D

Cheating is Bad.
I'd suggest Phantom at the Card Table, Marlo's Seconds, Centers and Bottoms as well as The expert at the card table. Ed Marlo has TON's of great works that can be used for cheating (palming, culling etc.) Good Luck.

Well, the Expert at the Card Table by Erdnase is considered to be the "Bible of Card Cheating" by most people familiar with the art, but for me it's pretty difficult to learn from.

Not impossible though, Dai Vernon did :)

Card Sharp by Brian Tudor is nice.

I have to disagree on this. Card Sharp teaches (poorly) a couple of techniques. Not worth the money.

Erdnase's book is a must have for everyone interested in card magic or card cheating. Yes, it is old, and perhaps a hard to learn, especially when everyone seems to be a visual learner who can't learn from books.

Cheating at Blackjack the Real Work show a lots of black jack cheating methods, and it is very interesting to everyone interested in card cheating.

I personally learned most of the cheating techniques I use(false shuffles, false cuts, false deals, stack shuffles, crimping) from Card College.

I've ordered Card College v.1 and v.2, and they'll be getting here soon :) Is this enough to get "sufficient cheating skills" or do I need some extra cheating material? I'm not trying to fool any vegas casinos, just kinda being able to do it in private (Not in games with real money ofc ;))

As you hopefully know, Card College is the largest and most update book series on sleight of hand card MAGIC. Vol. 2 contains many very good false cuts, vol. 3. contains riffle shuffle techniques, and vol. 4 contains false dealing and stacking. Methods taught there are good for cheating, magic, or cheating demonstrations. With stacking and false shuffling, and nullifiyng cut (vol. 2 and 4) you can cheat in private games. But cheating in real games need much more than just sleight of hand, and for that I recommend Erdnase's Expert at Card Table.

I highly recommend that you do not cheat for money. Think about mr. Madison. Best way to use sleight of hand card cheating methods is gambling demonstrations.

I suggest you study volumes 1 and 2 with care, and move forward in Card College after that.

I hope you are not planing on using your new found slights to make money by cheating your friend's or worse yet some stranger's at a quick game of poker. If you get caught it could turn out bad for you. I know lot's stories of people who have tried this in a back room game of poker and well let me just say this "You might need your thumbs one day!"

DO NOT CHEAT!!!!
