Hello all
Im just starting out with card magic. I live in Darwin, Australia. Sadly ive only been able to get my hands on plastic playing cards called queens slipper that are very... i guess average.
We only have wet n dry season this high up north in Australia and there is always moisture in the air. especially during the wet. What i find with the queens slipper decks is. I start my practice routines with clean freshly washed hands. I always keep the decks in there packs. But the longest ive had a pack survive and be smooth enough that i can Fan & Flourish smoothly is bout 8 hours.
The usual is bout 4-5 hours. Im guessing due to the moisture in the air and build up in the hands while im handling the cards.
Anyway enough blabbering. I have Tally Hos and some Bicycle 808 ryder backs arriving soon (hopefully today) from another state. I dont want the same fate for these cards.
Anyone have any advice in handling and improving the longevity of them ???
