I posted in reguards to a video in wich a magician and for an audience volunteer an effect goes horribly wrong... continuing with performance safety, any illusion that involves blades or a chop cup of any sort for an illusion, is there anyway to make the prop (blades...ect) look real but are infact safe for use... by the performer/assistants... so that nothing "goes wrong"...?
If I wanted a chop cup, or a blade for an effect, could I have it made so safety would be taken into account for myself or my staff?
I don't know the answer to your question, I'm afraid, but I just thought I'd mention that I don't think you mean "chop cup". A chop cup isn't anything to do with cutting or "chopping", it's called that after it was popularised by a magician who used the stage name of "Chop Chop". I think his real name was Al Wheatley or something like that.
