Hello all, I am looking for a creative way of presenting a small trinket to someone I care about very much. It is in fact a Christmas gift, it is not a ring but it is about the same size and weight. It is made of silver. I hope to give it to her by the means of a magic trick, if anyone has any thoughts they would be greatly appreciated. cheers

I have a perfect way to present it, and you could still leave the gift wrapped! Do a coin routine (like the one found on Jay Noblezada's 'In the beginning there were coins' on Jay's one coin routine, he does a trick, where he says 'and this coin looks just like my wallet' he replaces the coin (with some misdirection) for his wallet. You could do something like that, but say something along the lines of 'and this coin looks exactly like your Christmas gift.' I tried to find a video that showed exactly what I was talking about, but hopefully that was clear enough, or you already own 'In the beginning there were coins' and could just look at his one coin routine. Good luck man!

Update: I found 2 videos that showed what I was talking about! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTDSSHisHpw look at 1:42

Also, David Roth making a coin '20 times larger' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LpBgDffoCqA look at 4:17
