Cobra Sharpie 2.0?

I am really looking to add something strong to my arsenal and cannot find many reviews from anyone who has this. Does anyone actually know someone who has purchased this and is it practical or do people start to "burn" the pen wondering about its use / importance to the effect?

It seems expensive but I am willing to shell out for it if I can actually use it for at least 2-3 strong effects.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. I apologize if there is a review posted. I looked and couldn't find one.

if this is the one that is $400 then yes it is worth it if you are a paid performer. it will get you booked. the effect looks great, is straight forward, and the pen is used by the spectator to sign the coin before you do the bend.

I think maybe you're thinking of the QB2, not the Cobra as the Cobra can't bend stuff :S

I wouldn't worry about people burning the pen, say you're doing a roulette with it, with the Cobra Fang perhaps, you would use the pen to number the cups and it's just in your hands. I've seen Elsdon do that a couple times and no heat is on the pen.

For which hand effects, get them to sign the coin you put in their hands and do the same again.

As long as there's logic behind you bringing a pen out, you won't have any trouble, you can always switch it out after the effect anyway!

It'd be a good investment if you think you're going to use it, the sensor's really good in it, much better than using a PK ring

Thanks Dee. Yes...this is the one I am thinking of. Not the Quantum Bender that is over $400. I am talking about the Cobra Sharpie 2.0 that runs around $150.

I think it would be a great way to do roulette at parties / gigs. I am hoping there is more than just one or two effects.

I just haven't seen it in action or heard much on it.

Maybe Brad Henderson can chime in on this one.
