Condition of hands for handling cards?

Does anyone have trouble getting the right "condition" of hands when handling cards?
As in, when they're really clean, which I like to have mine so the cards don't get dirty, they're really slippery and very hard to get a grip on them. Same goes for dry hands.
Sometimes, too sticky is just too sticky and messes up your cards.
Too wet clumps cards together.

Also, having stiff, tensioned hands make it really difficult to flourish and do tricks as well.

This greatly affects my XCM and simple flourishes like card spinning.

Any tips on how to have the "right condition" of hands?

I know what you are talking about. I usually have this problem after I get out of the shower, the way I fix it is by using a bit of saliva at my finger tips. I know it sounds gross but I am not dipping my hand in saliva and then going strait into card handling. After I do the saliva thing I usually follow it up with hand sanitizer.

Or you could simply wash your hands with soap and water and let your hands air-dry. This might not work if you soft water.
