"Cooler" Move

So I was watching a video of a man explain the most common ways card sharks would cheat at cards. One of these was a deck switch called the Cooler Move. This was NOT the Cooler Deck switch by Christian Engblom. Instead it was a strange deck switch that lapped 1/2 the cards and stole the other 1/2, replacing the deck, in a move that was supposed to be followed by a cut. Does anyone know where I can learn it?

Fast Jack shows several excellent cold deck switches on his recent Penguin live lecture along with a large amount of other material. There is also The Art of Switching Decks by Roberto Giobbi which I believe covers the topic extensively, I don't own this so I'm not familiar with the switches taught within it.

This is the best I can do - a list of half deck switches using lapping.

The Gene Maze book is out of print and I don't have the Marlo Without Tears or Concertos for Pastboards.

I'm thinking there may also be a method in some of Marlo's work:

I'm trying to purchase some copies of Marlo Magazine, so I'll let you know if I find anything.

There is also The Art of Switching Decks by Roberto Giobbi which I believe covers the topic extensively.

Nothing in there meeting that description.
