Daniel Madison Players Deck Question

It's no secret that the 'Players deck is a marked deck of cards. I think it's one of the best decks Theory11 has put out there. That said, I have a question in regards to performing with them:

If you were to utilize the gimmick in a performance, is it practical to use In terms of how far away you can be to read it?

Do you have to be right up to it? Or can it be read an arms length away?

I have good eyesight and can read the markings at arm's length. The markings are small, so your mileage may vary. I would expect that poor eyesight would make these markings difficult at that distance. The markings are smaller than standard text, so if you can't read a book at full arms length you may have trouble.
