First of all, I never intended to start a rant thread, I actually like avoiding those, but this is beside the point.
Second:
Why not just do a cards across if you want to use regular sized playing cards on stage?
I'm probably going to do just that. I like the invisible palm, so that's why I was wondering. Cards happen to be my forte, so I'm trying to write a show that actually isn't based around cards so that I can use it for more than 60 (random number pulled out of thin air) people. I wanted to include a card effect because that's what I do daily.
