Almost 2 years ago, I posted a thread asking everyone to confess there most shocking magic sins.

I found it quite fun, but now it’s time to tell complete strangers some embarrassing stories! You ever have some embarrassing performance? Some unfortunate decision you made in your youth? Now is the time to admit it to tell completely random internet strangers your story.

When I got my first invisible deck i riffled and spring the deck because I thought it looked cool(because of every other card facing the other way)

I ended up ruining it within 1 hour...

Idk what I was thinking. I was so confused why the cards weren’t sticking together.

One of the main reasons I'm into magic now is because of Jarek 1:20. Used to look up to him a lot.

I both have brainwave and invisible deck and that's a shame but... I used them about four times

I absolutely respect Javi Benitez and his slights but I don't like his style

I have practiced different beautifully deceptive card controls but when I perform live I always forget to use them and instead I just take a break (is that how I should say that?) on the chosen card and riffle shuffle to control it to the top and then false cut or shuffle.(Luckily I'm not a professional magician)

Hey come on! If he's popular, good magician or not, he knows how to sell himself and I call that first-rate businessmanship!

Here are a few:-

I can do just one colour change. The Erdnase Change. And I'm not 100% confident with that either.

People are going on all about crying how youngster magicians today are too sleight-obsessed but I am literally so lazy that I can't care more about learning the classic palm with cards, okay? JUDGE ME.

Did a mind-reading trick for somebody just because I found them attractive. But does this count? Aren't all of us magicians creepy this way? Isn't it? ISN'T IT?

I have another confession. Supremely embarrassing but I'm not going to make it because I love the Theory 11 forums and don't want to lose my access here. I just want everybody to know that all of us are dark-minded, scheming, evil, creepy, opportunistic, lying people sometimes (some a bit more than others) but it's OKAY- We're in this together. We've got this.

I just remembered growing up I almost got grounded when I was 14 because I said for Christmas I wanted a stripper deck. I was so confused why everyone was so upset. I was a very sheltered child
