Erdnase on DVD?

I was searching some magic websites and came across 'The Expert at the Card Table' on DVD. It's a seven disc set by Wesley James. I had no idea! Does anyone have this? Can anyone comment on this dvd set. Is this a must buy for anyone interested in Erdnase?

I'm on the fence about it. I look at it... and I think about it... and I just am not sure.

On the one hand, it's the classic. Any competent professional should be able to make a good DVD set, right?

On the other, the work has entered the public domain, and there's no estate behind it to hold the quality bar. We only have the word of Wesley James that it's good enough. Unfortunately, I don't know who this guy is... so he may as well be nobody.

I guess, to sum up, I'd also like to know if it's any good.

There used to be a very detailed review on the Phantom Notebooks blog, but the site seems down now.

The reviewer went into every chapter and every move featured and compared it to the book.

The verdict: Garbage.
