Hey!

I want to start filming magic a lot more, but I don't want to go out and purchase an expensive hd camera...
What would your tips be for filming with and iPhone? I would be doing anything from performances to deck reviews and maybe street magic. Please let me know what you think... Thanks!

I personally would recommend purchasing a decent HD camera in the long-run, but, if you can not afford it at the moment check out this amazing device! Its called pocket tripod! http://www.pocket-tripod.com/

It's pretty great and can transform into different shapes and it's great for all different types of angles too! Hope that helped :)

As someone who makes a lot of magic videos for youtube, etc. I'm on a low college student budget haha. So pretty much everything I started out with is cheap stuff I bought from walmart.

Simple lights such as tree lamps: http://www.walmart.com/ip/15706029

And a basic camera isn't all that bad quality for an affordable price nowadays: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Bell-Howell-WP7-BLACK/24105594

Just look around, and youll find what youre looking for. I remember before I could afford a really good tripod I just used cardboard boxes and school text books. It was ghetto but it worked and you really couldnt tell so whatever works haha.
