after i showed some of my own material in a session down in Anaheim, they (respected magicians.. i think) said i should put together a small file or some media thing on my site (still in building stage). The problem is that i don't really have any professional crap like a green screen or backdrop or whatever. All i have is an HD camera and a chair and cards.. (hypothetically)

Anyways would it be bad or like a disgrace or something if i like just sat in a chair and showed and explained the tricks and sleights???


Please give me some advice.

Huh? They want you to take your tricks and put them on your professional site? Why would you up front show your clients how you do your stuff? I think you should only put stuff on the market when it is ready. Have you been performing this one and getting it ready, tweaking it? The stuff you see now has probably been in the works for 10 years.
