Hi everyone, I have been doing graphics design for 6 years now, so I would like to make my own custom playing cards. Where do I start? I have the size down but where do I get all the templates, and who do I go to to get the cards printed? How do I make the custom court cards? Where can I find all of this? I need some foundations for this, like how did Zach mueller get his cards printed? How does this all work? Thanks!

I can't help you much with the design aspect as I don't know where to get templates.

However, I do know of a couple options for getting them printed. The first is, of course, the USPCC. However, you'll probably have to make a fairly large order (2.5K perhaps) in order to make it cost effective. You can do lower orders, I believe, but the price per deck gets pretty hefty. Kardwell I think is the other one that a lot of people tend to use. I don't know much about them other than their minimum I think is only 100.

Good luck!

Make Playing Cards is a company that can allow for easy card printing, you can check them out. The template you can google poker size card template and you get it. Or you can google playing card size in pixels.

Hey Blind,

You can try and send over designs at deckstarter.com (I think it's run by Dan and Dave). It's like Kickstarter but specifically designed for playing cards. If they like the designs and think they have potential they will get in contact with you. This is only if you're trying to mass produce them for a wide variety of people to use.
