How can i start to perform magic in a restaurant/bar ?

I want to start performing in a coffee/restaurant not to earn money but to practice my magic in real audience.
Any one can help me with the suggession, like what effect i'm going to perform , how many effect i have to know, advice, how many minutes or tricks for a table in the restaurant ? etc Thanks in advance

Just pick 3 close-up effects that go nicely in a routine so that you start with an attention getter, then you carry on with a more complex effect, and end with a haymaker! If you aren't comfortable with 3 close-up effects yet...then perform one or two effects until you learn and rehearse the other effects to complete your routine! Another tip of advice is to do your last trick with a borrowed bill so that the person may be nice enough to let you keep it in the end! Don't give up because that's the only on thing that will stop you from becoming a better performer! Good luck!
