I chose cardistry as my life and career to make the best dvds possible 7 years ago. Even if I don't make one penny on my dvds I will continue forever to serve the cardistry community and all mixed entertainers all over the world. I love what I do and thats why I am so passionate in mixed entertainment.
I would like to hear all your comments, thoughts, ideas, and complaints whether positive or negative I want to hear them all. So I can grow with you and be for you rather than just myself. I want to expand cardistry and mixed entertainment all over the world, and make mixed entertainment as big as Ufc.

Since I have heard so much bad about dvds in the past I dont want to do that to you guys with my dvds.
The difference between just someone that just trying to make money and me is that I love what I do and will listen and evolve with you. I have just started making my Dvd Galaxy Cuts Alpha, and will be working on it over a year to perfect it and listen to everything that you have to say.

On my new youtube channel CARDCRAFTERS you can see the content before you even buy the dvd itself. So you can decide whether you even want it or not. I won't hide anything back besides a few categories that I have secret for you as a surprise. I work full time on this so what you see now will be even different than next year because I am evolving and ever changing. The dvd will be release in 2013 thats how hard I will be working on it.

I love cardistry and I love the life I live because of cardistry everyday.

So please tell me your desires in a dvd and I will do my best to accomplish that.

Welcome aboard Trevor....sorry...just finished typing in the Cruise ship thread...ha ha. Theory11 is a great place to be. We have tons of guys here who do cardistry so you've come to the right place. Make sure to read our forum rules, use the search function, check out the Wire if you wish to try and publish something other than a DVD, and there are fun videos in our media section.

Look around, have fun, and soak it all in.

hey,

i have some points that i will like to share with you after watching your entire video.. i am not an active member on the cardistry community.. i am working as a close up magician but i have worked down some DVD and i can understand how hard is to preform your moves. i think that if you want to make a dvd out of this stuff there some critical production elements that you need to improve:

1. the music is horrible.. for learning a move and watching this over and over with this music i will stop this after one time. the music is in high Bpm the sound effect sounds like a first CueBase pratice.. consider a minimal techno music done by a known Dj it doesnt have to cost you more.

2. camera angel.. i almost got An epileptic fit. to close , not clear (use HD) , take side up angel , use OTS.. slow your sybils down doing it super fast is not impressive as smooth( clearly you learned from tudor.. not a great teacher as well)

3. green screen.. well i like your concept about space and all but no effects is better than cheap effect. take a good location with good lighting condition that will be better and will help to focus on your moves.

4. Quantity with Quality - to many moves for a single DVD.. really a lot of them are Variations of some of your basic moves.. try to select your core moves and put time in perfecting them as a teacher( how to teach them and avoid pits)

5.talking - i dont mean to offend or anything but it doesnt seem like you talk a lot in front of People.. i dont know if this is because you are Excited, or the rave party music.. its just sounds not clear and mumbling. try to do lectures think on your way to deliver ideas using your words. you can write with soul and Passion.. while talking , you need to take one gear down.

6.special effects - less colurs, use two colurs for fonts . sont use rainbow slide show text and etc'..

well about your moves, you said it.. doing cardistry as a job is choosing a poor artist life all the way.. its diffrent now days to be a cards artist because its an open source community and for a massive selling dvd you got to be talent with a massive promoting site (T11, Penguin etc..) so i think the wire will be great for you or a Digital Download concept take your pick.. i think your wrist movement and sybils are your best features, also cards spining . try to create products for each one and promote them by Individualy.

i know i gave some bad review and i was paying attention to production but you ask for it.. things that i will like to see on cardestry DVD:
1. auto replay option
2. longer practice sessions
3. Propper camera angels shot in HD
4. seeing you teaching your moves to another person
5. live performances
6. magic applications
