One of the effects totally (portal)
But the other ones i don't really know

I ask myself two questions: Will I use this? Can I afford it? If yes, then it's probably worth it. In this state of where magic is at, $10 is not unreasonable for an effect if it's something you will use (or teaches you something that you will use later). Is it the best deal ever? No, (a free book from the library will give you the best bang for your buck) but it is on point for current market prices.
