For those of you who have not heard magician James L. Clark has been on a hunt against magic piracy.
For those people who don't know what is really it is downloading magic tricks for free ILLEGALLY. They download/upload a magic dvd to a private forum so they won't get caught. I know this because I use to do that stuff when I was first getting into magic. I regret doing it and do not do it any more and am very against it.

Any ways back to the point. James is trying to hunt down a lot of magic piracy. I have been trying to help and as much as I can. But wait there is More  YOU CAN HELP TO!!!!! omgz.

I think the thoughts brought up in the piracy thread we had a while back are applicable. Why not target the problems that cause piracy (or the bulk of them, anyway) instead of leading the angry mob with fire and pitchforks?

[MOD edit//Please do not mention any pirating websites. It only brings unwanted traffic to the site.]

I still don't know what twitter is all about. Every little thought you have you should display to the world?

The way to combat piracy is to infiltrate the ranks. Some time ago I downloaded some stuff. Not anymore. With most software I noticed there is an option to see WHO you are downloading from. So what I propose is to log onto any magic that you already know and start writing down those IPs. Then send them to your local magic forum/provider.

Once that is established, there will be less piracy.
