what is the trick where you put a burnt match in your mouth and it teleports into the book of matches? is it a part of "LIT" or is it a separate trick.

if it has a name, could you please tell me. thanks

I don't own the effect but I'm pretty sure that is also taught in lit (I don't think they would advertise it on the preciews and not include it) if I'm wrong I apologize but I'm sure its included

Don't think the trick really has a name, but you can find it in most beginners magic books. So get off T11, get down to your local library and read!

The trick may be in Mark Wilson's Complete Course, can't actually be bothered to get up and check though.

Great trick though, I've done it a few times and it really does impress people.

the similarity is it's a match is brought to the mouth. the rest of the effect is completely different.

Ya, the effect on AOM is a bite and restore match effect. As for the effect in question I do agree I don't think there really is a name for it (closest I can think of is burned and returned?). It is however in The Complete Idiot's Guide to: Street Magic under the name "Under Cover" in chapter 8 if you wanna check that book out, though there are many, MANY, sources with that trick in it.
