I didn't have much time to reply to the other thread, but the course might be good for new kids because the course starts off pretty basic. I was thinking a DVD might be pretty interesting too (Like penguin's beginner dvd). Watch just one trick. Learn together, then everyone go home practice it, create a way to present it, practice it, and the next meeting, present it to each other. Perhaps take one person each week and critique the performance, pull it apart and have them represent the next week. That next week, have the person present, then watch another effect(or flourish) on the DVD, learn it together etc,
I suggest this because on your video, you obviously have some more adept card handlers, however EVERYONE, regardless of experience or skill level, can learn from taking simple effects and working on new/different/quality presentations (same with cardistry).
Great idea. Good luck with that. Let us know what you end up doing, as I think some will want to really learn and try something similar in their schools.
