I've bought only one pack of the pre-made loops, I make my own loops with Invisible elastic thread.
I love loops as well, I have one on my wrist every day, throughout the day, I use them after a few other effects, usually and I know my audience pretty well.
My favorite effect is both the haunted deck or the one where a card is selected, returned, lost and the deck is spread. Then a marker, fork, pen or anything similar is laid now a moves seemingly on it's own volition to find the card selected.
As I said before I make mine with IET. I use Infinity thread, you can find a lot of information on IET just search around, get a spool you like and experiment with different tying methods. Personally I've had no problem with the million dollar knot, it works fine for me.
