Manufacturer's Write Up: iCharge 2.0 is a very clever idea by Silver Wing and takes charging a phone by mentalism to a new level.
We released the iCharge 1.0 version on May 2016. As the item's appearance is the same as an iPhone charger, we named it iCharge 1.0. We still use the name, although the iCharge 2.0 version no longer has the look of a charger.
The previous version required a specific app download in advance, so we could not perform the magic using an audience member's phone. The new iCharge 2.0version solved this problem perfectly. Now, all you need to do is borrow someone's phone from the audience, and you're ready to perform the effect.
Equally amazing is that the iCharge 2.0 can be practically invisible! Everything needed comes from the spectator's phone and data line.
iCharge 2.0 is an ingenious electronic item -- you do not need any sleights or suspicious props. All you need is iCharge 2.0.
How accurate is the ad copy? You will need the spectator’s phone AND THEIR data line to make this work. You do not actually “charge” the spectator’s phone nor is their a “charging screen” shown in the performance.

How are the production values: Terrible. Not what you’d expect after paying $65 for this. Shot with a phone, way too short, no live or studio performances – no actual shots of the “gimmick” connected to a real phone – they never show you what it should look like.
Is it well made: Unknown. It’s electronic, but does not “last” very long. Looks like two USB ends with white duct tape wrapped around it.
Is it well taught: No. Teacher is hard to understand, no sub titles, poor audio quality.
Storage? Does it "pack flat?" You can palm it in your hand.
Does it "play big?" Unknown. Your spectator’s phone will “illuminate” at a moment’s notice. It’s going to need a lot of “build up” and great patter – none of which they give you.
Difficulty / Skill level required: Easy
How much arts and crafts are involved? None
How practical is this in the real world? (can it really be done?) You will need to palm this awkward device in your hand – best if you already have a white charging cable, but then you will be limited to “which phones” you can use.
Overall score: let's toss out the traditional score of 1-10 and make this something that we all can appreciate and understand.

My thoughts this is terrible on so many fronts. I can not in good conscience recommend this.
