There's Tannens. It is a small shop for sure, but has almost everything you could imagine. Books, cards, dvds, they've got them all.
Then there's Fantasma which is the nicest and largest shop I've seen. Very good place to jam with other magicians.

You little stalker!
Tannens and Fantasma are VERY close to each other, just like 2 blocks away. I suggest you visit both. Fantasma is bigger and looks cooler, and has more general magic stuff (like doves, and magician suits which most other stores dont have). But Tannens has much more magic books and dvds in it and has a much richer history, it's small but very magical.

They're both easy to find. Both within walking distance of Penn Station/Madison Square Garden.

Tannens is at 45 34th Street right around the corner of 34th and Broadway. Close to Macy's (largest store in the world) and Victoria's Secret. You walk into the lobby and take the elevator to the 6th Floor.

Fantasma is across the street from Penn Station on the corner of 7th Avenue and 33rd Street. Just look up...it's on the second floor and there's stuff in the windows letting you know you're there. Door is on 33rd.

Both stores are fun to visit, but Fantasma definitely has a cooler atmosphere; especially when a guy named Magick is working the counter.

Good Luck!
