Yes. I've searched google prior to create this thread.

I am overwhelmed with the content that google aggregated and got many answers in producing an invisible thread. What I want is an answer from you t11 users.

Closest I got is this: http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=51&gclid=CP-yq5rw9qICFQ6ElAodDDPelg - $5
Another one: http://www.ehow.com/how_2272721_make-invisible-thread.html - $2

Is it best if I get polyester threads from a knitting shop than buying it from a magic store?

Advise.

You want wooly nylon - that's standard invisible thread. You can probably find it at any thread shop.

Here's kevlar invisible thread. I bought it, but it's a b!tch to strip. I mean, stripping up to a 5ft strand is fairly easy, but I tried stripping 30 ft or more for my ITR, but I never go above maybe 15ft before it broke. It's pretty much an unlimited supply, but apparently wooly nylon is much easier to strip.

Love that Kevlar link... great lead!

Spoutskee, the second link is the real truth... back in my day we would buy a pair of panty hose and strip them out. Woolly-Nylon will give you the "elastic" type IT everyone raves about... personally, I have far too much trouble working with IT these days.

It's elastic thread? I'm looking for elastic thread that I can buy locally and use.

There is plenty you can use...
As said before, woolly nylon, kevlar, any other kind of strippable cheap thread.
You can buy a good amount of this stuff from a magic store if youre lazy.
3 years back I also found that you can strip non-wax dental floss which looks a tad less conspicious though still not normal haha. The stuff is a tad weaker than normal thread but it is white and one spool will last you a life time.
I currently use Silk Worm. Still on my first spool of clear thread. Dont know if they still produce it though.
