I got this misprint on the back design on only one card in the deck.

I already sent a message to support, but I wanted to share because it looks pretty interesting.

What do you guys think happened?

Hey there! Each of those Monarch Prestige decks have two layers of foil on the backs - gold AND bronze - so slight and very subtle misalignments of this sort can happen, as even with the most precise registration, getting two layers of foil to perfectly overlap with sub-millimeter precision is a challenging feat. It's a super rare occurrence with this print run.

Wow that's pretty neat! I didn't know the lineart was foil as well.

Playing card production is so interesting!

So how does the misalignment of the foils cause this bleeding effect on the lineart?

Is it the because of they way foils appear when mixed together from the misalignment? Or was the lineart smudged or stamped more in that area due to the misalignment?
