Mystery Box Received - Cracked Lid

Hi,

I received my Mystery Box today, and it's great. I won't spoil anything about the contents, but I did have a question.

The lid on my Mystery Box has a crack along the entire surface that has weakened the lid itself so that it flexes. I'm afraid it's going to break in two. The box itself was packed very well, so I think this crack was in the original wood. I understand that kind of thing happens when working with reclaimed wood, so I'm not surprised about seeing such cracks.

Can you recommend a way to secure the two halves of the lid so it doesn't break?

Hi Sam,
I would send a support ticket in and depending upon how bad the crack or wooden lid is, maybe they will replace the entire box for you. I will contact JB / Lyle to see what can be done. Thanks for notifying us and we will get it taken care of.

No problem Sam. Theory11 does an Excellent job with customer service. I'm not tooting my own horn either because I have nothing to do with the customer service department, but I do try to get the messages to the right people quickly.
