New Blackjack Movie Coming Out

I'm not sure if this was talked about here yet but there is a new blackjack movie coming out called "21". It is based on the story of the very famous MIT Blackjack team. If you don't know who the MIT team is they are a group of students and there professor who perfect the art of card counting and go to Vegas and use the High-Low card counting system to win big money. Here is the trailer:

I can't wait until this comes out.
Anyway, I hope at least a few people see this post since it's so late. I'm gonna catch some sleep. I'll check this thread tomorrow

Sweet! I love Kevin Spacey!

The storyline seems kind of classic though. People get an idea, it goes big, falls apart, drama all over the place, and then somehow there's a happy ending. Well I'm assuming there's a happy ending so I don't know. Although if it's based on a true story it's just that much better :)

I like SOME musicals. I hate High School Musical, dont like Hairspray, really like Wicked.

Yeah, I won't see this opening night. The only movies I ever see opening night are the Harry Potter movies.....yeah, i'm a Potter fanatic.

It's based on this book I'm reading right now called "Bringing Down the House," by Ben Mezrich. Good read. Pick it up.

Actually, there was. This movie, at least what has been shown so far, is identical to "The Last Casino."

Now, they may both be based on the same book though, which essentially means that 21 is more or less a remake of The Last Casino.

I have not bothered to look up if they are both meant to be based off the book, or if The Last Casino was an unauthorized adaptation or something, but I haven't seen any mention connecting them, but like I said, this post is the most I've put into the subject, lol.
