I was reading through my copy of By Forces Unseen and I really liked the idea of a one hand get ready for a bottom palm. I feel way more comfortable doing a gamblers cop, though, and decided to play around with a one handed get ready for that. Does anyone know of any published work on this idea? I have some ideas that I will post later. Please share ideas!

I think D+M goes over it in one of his videos briefly and Paul Harris has a routine in the True Astonisment set. I am almost positive if you do a google search ALOT of names would come up.

so at work today i thought I would use this move in a simple trick that got great reactions. I have done this trick many times in the past with varying sleights to get set up, but here is the new handling.

have the spec shuffle cards, look through make sure all are different and in no way what soever in any order. Take back the deck, face down dribble with the spec calling stop. I explain that this dribble is the fairest most random way to choose a card. I offer them to change their mind. Then i show the bottom card of the top packet and say remember the card you stopped at. I do the kelly bottom replacement and say that earlier today i made a prediction about the card chosen in todays experiment. I ask "if there are 52 cards in a deck, what are the odds of my prediction and your chosen card being a match?" As I ask this and they briefly think about the math, i do the get ready, then immediatly go for my right pocket, pause, then give them the deck and take my left hand w/ the copped card to my left pocket, pulling it out face down. Then i just build up the reveal.
