Both fans need work, but concentrate on the left for now since it's exponentially more uneven than the right, just practice a bit more, and for sure use cards in good condition (no clumps, no grease etc....) fanning is something that takes lot of practice, good cards and good technique. You should look at Bone's videos he has very nice wide fans, also check out Andrei's new 1-on-1 which teaches this fan (might help a bit) and for pressure fans Webghost is the man! (see 1:45 here also)

Thank you for your references to fanning tips, although I already know about many of those sources and in my original post, said that I recognize the fans kind of suck.

The reason I posted this was not to show off my fans, but rather to showcase the photograph itself. The lighting, shading, positioning, etc.

Mods: That's why my original title was simply "Photo." and not "My Fanning Photo".
