Seriously? Man, before you even THINK about putting on a show, you should have a show ready. Sorry, but I won't be the one to make your routine for you for a show you clearly aren't ready for. Come on, man, you gotta step it up a notch if you're going to make it as a magician.

Yeah.... uh.... if it were for a more forgiving audience.... like a retirement home.... maybe. A room full of angsty insecure teenagers has a good chance of eating you alive.

Pull the cord. See if they will reschedule.

By the way... after you cancel I really would love to spend some time thinking through some routining with you.

You have some really solid magic there, and if you are proficient at any of it you should be able to put together a good parlor act.

I'd love to help! Just give yourself some time to do the real work!

I do think it's awesome that you already have enough moxie to book an actual performance. A lot of guys wouldn't.

I WOULD say to do an all mentalism show, with some TK and audience participation, but you MUST NOT do this gig mate. too little too late, y'know?

If you want to do shows, start building it now, and work at it. You seem to have some good material to work with though.

The first thing you need to do is figure out what you want to do with the routine. What is the common thread that will tie all the effects together?

Like a story?
an all mentalism routine would be great like mentioned above...

Not neccessarily a story. Just a theme or motif that brings it all together.

For example, suppose you're doing a mentalism routine. Are you psychokinetic? Are you an expert in reading non-verbal communication? Non-contact Hellstromism? Super memory?

hmmm, how I dont know... I like the card theme best.... maybe about slieght of hand...

but I could do psychokinetic with effects with my M5... but yeah....
dose phychokinetic mean you can only move metal?

I'm sorry, but from everything I've heard, Retirement Home Shows are like twice as hard as normal shows, simply because of the sicknesses, the hearing loss, sight loss, etc. I wouldn't try a "new" routine at a Retirement Home, since that venue's pretty hard even when you do have a good show planned out.

To me, there is no flow in any of it, and it doesn't build. What you want to do for a routine is start out strong... get your spectators interested. Then, show something a bit weaker, but still good. From there, you need to slowly build up to the Grand Finale, and leave 'em wanting for me.

For me, yours didn't really do that. If I had to routine those tricks, I would put them in this order:

-Disappearing Salt

-A Sucker is Born Every Minute

-Two Card Monte (Card Switch)

-Card Force

-3 Card Monte

-ACR

-Watch Stop

-Angle Zero

I took a few out because I thought they disrupted the flow, or didn't know what they are. But I hope I could help a little bit!

Ok I see!
some people says start small... but I see what your saying!
I really think T.O.C. should be in there... but it dose disrupt the flow

why do you think disapearing salt should be last? instead of salt I could use suger then at the end turn them into suger cubes, and make them all disapear...

but after that how would I go into a sucker is born every minute? but I like the idea of 3 card monte first, that way I can right into acr and it tells them I dint use gimmicked cards when really I can tenkia palm them and ditch them in my ditch bucket but make it look like I put them ontop of the deck, and have those three cards ontop of my deck aftwards and say something like "oh have a look at the cards if you want"

oh with the darren brown card force, I could do stigmata right?
then keep the 3 in my pocket and do what darren dose and say "oh thats the only card I carry around in my pocket..."
