My experience with retirement homes is that they're just happy you are there. Screw the magic. All you have to do is show up, smile, and listen to stories about their family members that never visit them.
I'd NEVER try out new material for 15 year olds. (No offense to the 15 year olds here.) Those little bastards are out for blood.
It's difficult to help with routining for a person you've never met or seen perform. A program is as individual as costume choice or speaking style. I have a friend who I coached to perform the straightjacket escape as an opener instead of a closer like most people would. He can pull this off, but others could not.
For years I closed a stage illusion show with a cigarette vanish because I didn't want to share the stage with a plywood box for final applause.
Without knowing more about you, your personality, your goals, etc it's difficult to tell you an order.
My best advice would be:
1. Pick one of the programs above and use it.
2. Immediately after the show write down what went well, what went not so smoothly. Make notes about why.
3. Book another performance soon.
4. Change the order for the new show and see what happens. Maybe even try the order backwards.
5. Make notes again.
6. Book another performance soon.
7. Put the tricks in the order you think is most effective.
8. Make notes again.
9. Book another show. Refine the order.
10. Polish the act and start charging some money.
