Prophet or Extreme Burn?

hey all, i just had a quick question on which to buy, prophet or extreme burn? they both look good to me but i was wondering which wuz better? oh and if you have to destroy money in order to make the gimmick on prophet i would probably just stick with extreme burn cuz it already comes with one.

I recently got Extreme burn, and I say that Im happy with the purchase. Because of the design of the gimmick, there are 9 different ways to transform the bills! I think thats practical, because each has their advantages depending on the performing environment and people watching you. I've heard from a friend that prophet only has one handling of a change, so I would go with extreme, there's more to offer.

Also, with extreme burn, you can always take apart the bills and use them if you need to. There not destroyed.

With Prophet the bills are not destroyed
with Extreme burn you also have to make the gimmick b/c the DVD does not come with bills it only comes with that extra something

Prophet doesn't come with the gimmick either.

Extreme burn pwns Prophet in many ways. mostly cuz the gimmick has an added something that allows for ultra visual changes. Plus, the EB dvd teach 9 changes while Prophet only teaches 2.

Only 1 bill is gimmicked. The same applys with every other bill switch trick out there.

Extreme burn is a good effect, but to be honest.....its laughable really. No moves...no cover....then you perform a move, lol. It's essentially the same effect, just requires something a bit 'extra' which to be honest, doesn't add as much to the trick as you're probably imagining it does. (But does provide you with a new opportunity to get busted.)

If you want someone to go through 9 handlings (all of which are replicable with Prophet) then that's up to you. Or you could think of some of your own.

I guess some people just like getting gimmicks in the mail. Neither comes with money however, that has to be yours. They are so similar in handling and execution, personally I'd save myself the 5 bucks and buy Prophet.

As someone who owns both, I prefer Extreme Burn. The extra gimmick, in my opinion, was a pretty ingenious addition. It basically does the change for you and provides you with more options for different changes. Also, I've found it easier to spend one of the bills with Extreme Burn than with Prophet. Can't explain why due to exposure, but I found Prophet to work better with bills that were worked in as opposed to Extreme Burn, which doesn't seem to make much of a difference with how worn in the bills were to the effect.

Both are solid handlings of the effect, so either one you get is really a winner, but I think Sanders has one-up with Extreme Burn.
