So, I've been seeing in the Elite Member Initiative and on the forums "saturday night contest". I'd really like to get my feet wet in this community and like to compete. But where do I sign up? What time does it start? And most importantly, what do I do? I've heard there are types of contests and if so, what are the types? Any answer would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forums! You enter Saturday Night Contests right here in the General Discussion section of the Forums. Every Saturday at 7:30pm EST a new contest is posted with an opportunity to win some pretty sweet prizes, shipped on the house to anyone who wins, anywhere in the world. Each contest win is guaranteed 1,000 Elite Points, plus another prize. It could be an advance copy of an upcoming release, decks of our newest playing cards, or even rare decks. Contest types vary from week to week. It could require a video entry, a picture, or a simple response contest such as prediction/guessing. These contests are truly fun to participate in because you never know what you could create or stumble across. It is also a great learning tool to give you more experience in shooting video, taking photos, and creating and/or performing magic/cardistry. Even if you don't think you will win a particular contest, it's always best to give it a shot and get some practice under your belt.
