Hello! After several difficult times and a wrist injury, I had to step away from doing magic to recoup and believed that era of my life was over. But after a summer with kids wanting to learn magic and getting to teach it to them, the match has been struck once more lol.
I don't intend to lean into it professionally (at least not for a while), but have been out of the game for about 7 years – any recommendations/help/resources would be super helpful since it's been some time. I left off being pretty decent at close up but am fairly rusty and have small hands (barely bigger than an iPhone). So that combined with wrist injuries does make palming a challenge, but I do still love close up magic and would like to improve upon that some more.
My default routines with kids has been half gimmicks and half actual tricks but my current repertoire is mostly geared for adults, so anything I could possible do with them would be helpful too since I'll be working with this same group some more for my day job.
If you have any suggestions/updates/resources, please send them over!
