Hello everyone. I would like to post a simple review of Prelude by Tom Weil. Let's start with some info from Tom's site.

"Devils Advocate Productions presents the debut Ebook by Tom Weil. Containing 4 full length card routines and 7 original sleights this work gives an insight into some of Tom's strongest card magic with an introduction by Daniel Madison..."

I must say I really enjoyed this Prelude of things to come. The PDF is well written and very easy to read. This is not for beginners but it is easy to follow so just about anyone can get at least something out of this PDF Now on with the review!

"...Sit back, put on some thrash metal and rock out… This is just the beginning." -Daniel Madison

The PDF has a great introduction from Daniel Madison that gives you some back ground on Mr Weil.

"Tom Weil: pronounced like “Wheel on the bus”; spelt like the disease carried by rats which causes diarrhoea, vomiting and, eventually, death..."

What can I say I really love the way this PDF draws you in it's a great read but a short one. Only 17 pages.

Here is a list of what you will learn in this great PDF

Contents of Sleights:
The Ego Glimpse (AKA Brian)
LCD move
The Legacy move
The Pinch Add-On
The Cop to Pocket Add-On
The Drop-Off Add-On
The Danotom Switch

Contents of Full Routines:
A Card at Any Number
Tuna Mayo Sandwich
Chance in a Million
Instant Danotom Transpo

I must say that this was a great buy at only $14 USD and I would give the PDF an easy 8.5/10.

In closing I will borrow my favorite line from the PDF

..."Thank you for your time reading, I‟m afraid I now have to go milk the ducks.
Toodle-pip."

If you're going to call something a review, please review it. This is nothing more than a rating.

Although I'm sure Tom is an exceptional artist, I have to say this pdf was a bit disappointing for me. To me some of the moves didn't seem well thought out. Personally, I had been using "Brian" for quite some time, and always thought of it as a basic sleight. I never even considered it to be worthy to publish. It just seemed like one of those things everybody could think of.

I'm not bashing Tom, I just don't really like some of the ideas in the pdf.
