No ninja rings are the same as linking rings. if you want to learn the routine
you can get shoot ogawa's dvd its a nice routine
for close up. i would not do it because the rings are to small
for me i perfer the 12in. rings.

They are a better quality also come with a case and a ring clip , as far as the gap, they have a gap if
you want one with a magnetic lock you can get one but its not
nesecery.
