Sad but funny

hes just a nerd. he says card collage sucks when thousands/ maybe even hundreds of thousands say its awsome? yeah...
I am actually pretty disappointed with a lot of members on here now. Okay I know that he does not make sense really when he is saying things are crap and Card College is crap and everything like that but that doesn't signal a flag to start swearing at him and making fun of him saying "he is crap", "go loose some weight", etc. I know not all those comments came from members of Theory11 but I definitely did see some usernames there that I recognized from Theory11 (some of the comments on YouTube). I am personally disappointed from many of the members that made those comments. There is no need to make fun of him. Think about how that kid feels with all those comments. He could get depressed because of that and depression is not something fun to go through (I know people that went through depression).
We are all magicians here and trying to help fellow magicians out. Think of all the magicians that have helped you out and made you continue on in magic and inspire you, no matter if it is the local magician in town of the Las Vegas magician. Whoever made comments like that I would ask for them to rethink it and maybe send him a letter encouraging him or just talking to him (I know people have tried, but keep trying). Always think about what your saying before you post.

If you need more proof this is a joke, watch the first video he posted where it can be clearly heard that he riffle shuffles and then bridges. Then watch his latest where he does a "perfect faro" and goes to "waterfall" them but says he can't. He is clearly faking.

If anyone needs any more proof that it's a joke (as if the content of the video alone wasn't enough) just look at the tags on the video, 'funny' 'stupid' etc. or even look at his account type 'comedian'.
Man, if some of you didn't take magic so seriously and get angry so easily you might have enjoyed this brilliantly funny parody of youtube magicians. Honestly, you'd think some of the people complaining about this just like to be annoyed

See, this is probably why the guy isn't posting videos anymore. Not enough people got the joke to make it worth it.

I thought it was funny. What's not funny is there are people just like him who are not joking.
yeah, okay so its a joke, I except that but he doesn't make it very clear really. while watching it the first thing I did wasn't "what did he tag this under" it was, "hes obviously annoying".

Well, the original poster is probably one of those wacky people who think this kid is for real.
im only saying what I think, I didnt think it was funny, he was randomly speaking about big expensive books like they were crap, that to me anyway isnt funny, its just stupid, and dont start the whole "But its a parody, its funny, I laughed, people need to be less serious about their magic", if you think its funny, good for you.

Okay so I did, BUT looking at the tags and the comedian channel thing, this for me is a very good example of magic.

Well, look at it like this... You watched the video for what it was, you didn't try and disect it and figure out what was behind it all (In this case the video tags and the type of channel) and it evoked a reaction in, albeit an unpleasant one, but a reaction nonetheless.
Magic videos and magic in general are the same, watch them without trying to disect every little move and every little subtlety and you're going to enjoy it more. Rather than "Ooh that was nice, I followed it, but it was nice" and especially rather than "I think it seemed quite obvious, I'm not sure whether it would work on laymen.". <--- This one always gets me, 'cause apparently these days laymen have the ability to rewind live performances and re-watch everything and scutinizing every little move until they can say they've figured it out.
Am I making sense?... Either way, congratulations to everyone who thought this was serious, you were just a layman again.

If you simply look at it as some kid mouthing off about good magic books then I can understand why you didn't enjoy it. But that's not the point of this video, by exaggerating examples of the kind of thing youtube magicians tend to do, he shows you how ridiculous these guys really are.
