Since the new year is approaching I was thinking of joining either the Society of American Magicians or the IBM. I was wondering if anyone here is part of either of these groups and if it is something worth the money. Are either of these groups something that teaches you or helps make you better?
A big thing for me is that an IBM Ring meets near me while there are no SAM groups that do. I guess I am just looking for some insight into this type of thing. I feel like I get a lot of information and advice from this forum and wasn't sure if paying a yearly membership would be worth it. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks
