Hey guys, hope everyone is having a great weekend! As 2025 comes to a close, we are reminded of everything we have done over the past year and where it has gotten us heading into the new year. It's always exciting to begin a new year, so first and foremost, happy upcoming new year from all of us at theory11!

We want to know - in your own words - what you feel you have accomplished over this last year (2025) in playing cards, puzzles, magic and / or cardistry. Some of you may have just started your own card collections, others may have come up with a cool idea or concept that found its way into your repertoire, or you started your journey into puzzles and table games. The contest tonight is simple - tell us about it.

In addition, we want to know what your resolutions are for this next year - 2026. What are your goals? What would you like to see yourself accomplish over the coming year? We want to hear about it!

Because this is a written contest, everyone of you is free to participate. Submissions should be posted as responses to this thread - and all entries must be in by tomorrow, Sunday, December 28th at 11:00pm EST for judging. We will review the posts and announce the winner (selected at random) once time is up. Note that submissions can vary in length - but are limited to 500 words, maximum.

The winner takes home 1,000 Elite Member Points, a deck of Prestige Monarchs, and 6 Decks of Bebemos Casino Playing Cards.

We look forward to reading through all of your accomplishments, aspirations, thoughts, and goals!

I became a parent for the first time late last year, so 2025 has been my first year in a while doing no shows at all. However, it's been an amazing year since I've been creating quite a lot of new magic! As someone who always struggled with creativity, I'm really proud of my work this year.

As for 2026 resolutions - time to get back on stage :)

2025. So much has happen for me this year. I learned a few new cardistry moves, and dabbled in mentalism. For 2026, I hope to come up with an original routine.

I feel I did a lot more reading this year and freshened up my repertoire, and moved past not only studying effects but studing theory and different presentation ways to strengthen magic.

As for this coming year, I hope to see myself obtain employment, once I do that I would like to try and start performing magic more then I do.

I feel like I reignited my passion for collecting cards and bought or received more decks this year then the last two previous years.

As for 2026, I just want to add a few tricks to my repertoire and feel comfortable with them to be able to pull it off any time in any place.

I took a step back from performing magic, so it's no longer my personality, and dove into some more... interesting mediums than playing cards.

For 2026 I'm planning on doing much more Jerxian style magic!

I have so much planned for this year . I want to start reading , I want to focus on my health , healthy eating habits , collecting more beautiful deck , learning some new cardistry moves that's on my new years resolutions list .
This is nothing much happened in relation to magic cardisty. But I collected some of my all time favourite decks . So yeah this year was good I hope next year will bring happiness to all of us 😊

In 2025, I was able to practice my cardistry moves with Theory 11 cards such as the Tycoon 25th Anniversary Playing Cards and black Artisans cards too. Just constant practice and patience.

My 2026 New Year’s Resolution will be expanding my card collection with new Theory 11 Peaky Blinders and Bebemos cards. I really love the amazing quality and designs from Theory 11.

This year has been remarkable for my card collection, which is almost double what it was last year.
As for next year, I’ve been toying with the idea of designing my very own deck of cards, and I would love to make it a reality in ‘26!

2025 was an incredibly successful year magicwise. I performed more than ever before, including approximately doubling my number of charity shows.

In 2026, I hope to launch a non-profit organization that will connect magicians with children and adults facing illness or disabilities, providing free magic shows either in person within their communities or virtually across the country. If you’d like to get involved or support the effort in any way, feel free to let me know, and I’ll reach out once things are underway.

This year I've done a lot more gigs than the previous year, which is great for working towards my goal of doing (card) magic professionally :)

For next year the goal is to finish university and then fully focus on magic!

It's been a pretty long and rough year, but glad that I was able to keep all my cards in my collection as well as adding a few new ones! ✌🏽✌🏽

I have neglected magic this year, bought a few decks here and there, but rarely taken them out of the box.

Next year, I want to get cards back in my hand, learn some new effects and get performing again. Maybe go back to basics and re-read some old books.

My 2026 resolution is to lose some weight and get more creative with my videos on Up The Ladder Cuts. Recently, I started using CapCut so that's helping somewhat. And maybe get even faster with the cuts.
Here is my latest video:

This year was quiet for me magic/cards wise, didn't learn much or practiced anything new, apart from participating regularly in the SNCs here, and just won snc a few weeks back, the prize of which i just got like yesterday and as of I am writing this the kids are making a T11 puzzle with me going after every hour for sometime to help them in the puzzle.
I have had this idea that kind of combined a simple magic principle with technology so for 2026, my plan is to code a prototype for this app, and see if its gonna work and if it does what i am thinking, Then I would like to submit this idea to T11 or others and see what happens.

This year I learned a couple of new tricks and added a few new decks of cards to my collection. I'll try to keep up next year.

this year i became more consistent with cards and magic. i spent more time actually practicing
in this new year i want to keep improving steadily , refine what i already know, and become more confident
happy new year everyone
