Stop bad mouthing wikipedia. A number of institutions have carried out studies on it and found it to be just as reliable, if not more, than most encyclopedias. Anonymous editing is all monitored, as is everything added to and deleted from the site. Wikipedia is a strong reliable source, and a good stating point for most research projects

And I'm tired of people being so mean to it.

Does any of that change the fact that teachers don't consider it legit?

My university and the course I'm on, don't accept wikipedia as a reference (I personally think for the most part it is quite reliable and indeed a good starting point, but to say it's a strong reliable source... hmm not really, not in my opinion)...

However, as I said i think it's a good starting point, the reference links you find at the bottom of the wiki-page you're on might be of use? :)

As much as I enjoy cruising on Wikipedia, it's not an acceptable source. My friend once edited a page to say that "the nickname of Mike Myers as a child was firecrotch."

Hey Everyone. Thank you so much for all the help. With your help, I was able to get a 94 on my speech. I also got called back in front of the class to preform a quick trick for everyone, so I did a quick trick with the invisible deck and Disjointed. Thank you again.
