Shane Black's conceptions of mystery (Second edition)

You might have seen His Sweetly done: Coin through sugar packet on steroids but what deserves your
attention is Conception of Mystery: Shane Black's creativity on steroids!!!

Shane Black starts of with a brief account of him transforming from a
trick-revealing-klutz to a mind-blowing-pro. That, really, is inspiring.

P.I.P.1:
Card pips trough glass, the card left blank! Yes, with a portable gimmick you really can pass card pips
trough borrowed wine bottles. I can say that this effect is amongst the world's 20 most stunning effects ever created.
The gimmick requires some work and practice from your part but the reaction is awesome.
moreover, the pips are imprinted towards the bottle's inside and the spectator can take the bottle away!
(Though i never am comfortable with this give-away idea.)

P.I.P.2:
Card pips through draft glass. The face of the card penetrates through a draft glass,
the gimmick here is different and so is the mechanism. This one is less portable but you can confidently give away
the draft glass for the crd is literally imperinted.

Mental and proud of it:
A signed bill travels to a locked ring box, the key of which is in an untempered/ungimmicked sealed envelope while the
bill left in open has the spectator's chosen card on it! Shane black, I'm proud of you ;)

S.F.C.S.E.:
Yet the best card steal...

All head no substance:
A jumbo coin vanishing routine which blows a person away. I found it really useful with poker chips also.

Poor Man's ring flight:
A ring vanish that requires rich misdirection skills. The hook up is complicated but shane give's a way out (an excuse)
if the damn hookup is revealed. I, personally, will be using the excuse more than the vanish itself ;)
This effect, i did not like...

Water of leaf:
This also is a poor filler, I will still use it for kids though because the plot is for kids.

C.T.B. Live:
Impromptu card through box. It is awesome and will be paying for the price of half the book. Requires a
little misdirection and practice.

Casper: Ghost card cutting. I personally don't like this kind of effects but as an experiment when i performed for my
cousins they were plainly blown. the ending is clean.

B.B.Double: A convincing subtelity/flourish that convinces the spectator that you did not double cop the card.

Clinch'd: A card shooting technique that can be used to shoot selections when controled to the top.

Snap'd (Snap change on steroids): If someone has bought d+M's glitch, it is like that, means shane added a technique to
end up clean after marlo's snap change.

Blown: A signed dollar to baloon. this is not the best one you will perform. I think it is just a filler.

2nd edition bonuses:

Machine gun deck:A card shooting apparatus that requires a deck and a rubber band.

Tabled pass cut: A genuine false table cut.

Felony: Shane I am full of praises again. I have never seen money magic go to this extreme. This effect is as good as
daniel garcia's fraud.
Wot's it btw? It is a signed card torn in your hands, restored in their hands!!!!
It pays for half the price of the book.

b&B Change: A card change: not bad, but not the best either.

Copper and silver delight: Was hard to figure out for i kept missing steps while practicing. This vanish is quiet
confusing but it makes you the coin god. you change the coin several times with ease.
This effect beats the coin bite.

Elmer's gag: Will not work until you know a certain advanced technique but still if you know it, it is the best piece
of astonishment.

What do I rate this book:

12/6 (Not a typo, this book is really 12/6)

(Additional note: water of leaf is a filler)
